Community Engagement

We believe that community engagement is key to building a strong and supportive network of cybersecurity professionals. Through our community engagement initiatives, we provide opportunities for individuals to connect, collaborate, and share knowledge and experience with each other. We organize regular networking events, workshops, and webinars to help our members stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in the industry.

We have a student community of 400+ members and an “internship alumni group” of 150+ members where we encourage members to build together, share wins and connect.

Academic/Career Support

We recognize the importance of education and training in the cybersecurity industry. To support our members in their academic and career pursuits, we offer a range of resources and services. We provide mentorship programs, career counseling, and job placement assistance to help our members achieve their professional goals. We also offer scholarships, grants, and other forms of financial assistance to support individuals who are pursuing academic degrees or certifications in the cybersecurity field.

We support our student members through mentorship , interview preparation ,CV reviews and course work/dissertation support.

Internship Opportunity

We believe that hands-on experience is essential for developing the skills and knowledge required to succeed in the cybersecurity industry. To provide our members with practical training opportunities, we partner with organizations and companies to offer internship programs. Our internship programs are designed to give our members exposure to real-world cybersecurity challenges, and help them gain the experience and skills they need to excel in their careers.

Free Training

We understand that access to training and professional development opportunities can be limited for some individuals. To address this, we offer free training programs to our members. Our training programs cover a range of topics, including cybersecurity fundamentals, advanced cybersecurity concepts, and specialized training in areas such as digital forensics and incident response.

 

We have provided free training on the rudiments as well as the more technical aspects to over 300 individuals

Conferences

We believe that conferences are an important way for cybersecurity professionals to stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices. To support our members’ professional development, we organize and host cybersecurity conferences that bring together experts from around the world. Our conferences provide our members with the opportunity to learn from industry leaders, network with other professionals, and explore new cybersecurity technologies and solutions.
